HOME CANNING/ PEPPER JELLY

Ingredients:
2 large green peppers, seeded 
and chopped fine
Put above in blender and liquify
Next:
6 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups white vinegar
1/3 oz. green food coloring
 (or a few drops)
1 tsp. red (hot) pepper sauce
Make a syrup of vinegar and sugar.
Add liquid pepper mixture and boil
for five minutes.  Remove from heat
Add 6 oz. liquid Certo (fruit pectin),
red pepper sauce and the food 
coloring.  
Pour into jelly glasses.  Process for
5 minutes in hot water bath.  Makes
about 6  jelly jars!
Just a tip:  you can use red bell peppers
and red food coloring too!
