MAIN COURSE DISHES/ GRANDAD RICKETTS HOT DOGS

Great-Granddad makes the best hot dogs!

He makes a fire in the family room fireplace

with real wood.  Then he puts a hot dog

on a stick and gives it to me and I put it 

on the fire.  Granddad puts one on a stick

and puts it in the fire too.  Then we turn 

the stick and cook the hot dog.

Gammy said we could eat it on the stick

but Grandad and I put it on a fork and eat 

at the kitchen table.  Granddad puts mustard

on his and I put ketchup on mine.

That's how Granddad and Sarah make 

hot dogs at the farm.  They're really good,

you should try it!
